Proof in Numbers: More Education Means More Salary

Proof in Numbers: More Education Means More Salary

Bureau of Labor Statistics

The Bureau of Labor Statistics collected data from professions across the board and determined that furthering your education will in turn provide more opportunity for a higher salary. Consider this fact when you are debating the level of education you wish to pursue.

Analyzing the numbers below, someone with only a high school degree will earn far less than someone with an advanced degree. With only one step more, an associates degree, you’ll earn 22% more per year. With a bachelor’s degree 54% more and with a masters degree an enormous 92% more or nearly twice as much!

I fall in the "Some college, no degree" category and earn over 35K. So I can imagine my earning potential if I completed my degree.
