Bake Cookies With ... a Waffle Iron?

If you’re lucky enough to have a waffle iron around the office (or think it might be a good time to run out and get one), do we have news for you!

Apparently you can make delicious cookies in just 90 seconds in a waffle iron. Not a whole batch, mind you, but if you’re looking for a little pick-me up at your desk, you’d just need premade cookie dough and you’re good to go.

All you need to do is get your little hands on a waffle iron, warm it up on the highest setting, and spray it with a little non-stick spray. With a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop, spoon batter into each section of your waffle iron. If you do this part right you’ll make sure your cookies will cook evenly and turn out delicious. Wait 90 seconds and then try not to eat them all up!

If you want to be a little more involved at home, Martha Stewart has a video and a recipe to get you started — and hungry. We’re going to try it!
