Posted 2 months ago Do you have a boss who goes to company paid "business" lunches that are really lunches with friends (abuse of the corporate credit card!) yet he/she makes you stay practically glued to your desk to answer phones and be available in case something "urgent" needs to get done. Office Avenger has a solution for this problem at http://officeavenger.blogspot.com. What do you suggest?? |

| Posted 2 months ago The company I work for requires that the names of the attendees be written on the back of the restaurant receipt. I then have to type in these names of these people, and the company they work, for on the expense report. Check your company policy about business lunches and expense reports. If the company is audited this is one of the things they look into. His manager will have a budget for business meals. He should be the one monitoring how much this guy is spending company money. Whenever he wants you to stay in for lunch and monitor his calls make an excuse that you made a doctors appointment over your lunch hour, or you already made plans to meet friends for lunch. He should leave a message on his voicemail that if it is urgent please call his cell number... |
