What Do You Do When You Don't Have Enough Work to Do?

Posted 3 months ago Do you get bored from time to time because there's just not enough to do? Do you feel that your boss could offer you more tasks, and that they tell you that they're putting things together for you, but never do? What do you do in those situation? | Posted 3 months ago Right now I've got nothing but time until I find employment, however in the past I would always manage to find something to do. In the past, I understood when there were some limitations to the position in terms of what tasks I could do, and compensated. An easy way I help out around bigger offices is by volunteering to take urgent mail for people (office-related, they can put NetFlix in the end-of-day box themselves) or pick up more general mailroom functions when extra hands are needed. I also help people with technology problems, anything that doesn't require administrative network access to fix. The tech guys appreciate it, frees them up from servicing more basic problems so they can prioritize the larger issues. |
