Posted about 1 year ago My husband and I have 2 dogs, Faith and Esther. Faith who's 6 has been spoon fed when she wasn't feeling so great. She has an allergy to flees and ticks. So when she's not feeling well, I talke the spoon and feed her so that she gets some nourishment until the allergy medicine kicks in and starts to work. Esther is new to the family. We had another dog Brielle who died in April. She was spoon fed also, but only at the end. She was a trooper and a very loving dog. Never complained one bit. |

| Posted 5 months ago I have two Pomeranians - Casey and Cody - who are my children. I have spoon fed each of them over the years when they were sick and when they were getting an extra treat. I miss them terribly during the day and I cannot wait to get home to their furry little faces at night. |

| Posted 4 months ago I want to put this out as I have just experienced this. My Bobby boy got lethargic, didn't want to eat or drink, so off to the vet we go. We treat hime for hge ( catchall for unexplained upset stomach and diarrea). He starts pooping pure blood within a couple of hours and back to the vet. We were so busy trying to stabilize him that we didn't have time to diagnose that very moment. But we did start treatment to clot the blood immediately. Long story short he died the next morning and I had an autopsy performed because I have to know what happend to a perfectly fine 2 year old dog. He was poisoned. Warfarin (rat poison). That poor baby just bled to death internally. It is a very ugly, horrible way for your dog to die. When we figured out that he was bleeding out ( within 15 minutes) we started the Vitamin K injections but he was past saving. I don't use poison on anything. Either something that had been poisoned got into my yard and Bobby got it, or someone put poison where he could get it. I hope to God it was the first and not the latter because that is too cruel. So please watch for rodents or moles in your yard that may have been poisoned by your neighbors down the street. It could kill your dog.
